The only criteria for selection is you have had to have seen the player live in any format or level of cricket!
Alistair Cook – The amount of games he has played batting at the top of the order and to stay at the top of his game. To score that amount of runs that he did you would be crazy not to have him in your team.
Kevin Pieterson – Had the ability to take the pressure of the batter and to put it back on the Bowler. It was amazing to watch him do this. The manner in which he done it was just mind blowing to me when i watched this as a kid.
Joe Root – What a great player of spin, he has saved England many times. His Runs speak for themselves.
Ian Bell – An incredible player that can cover drive wow just WOW.
Jonny Bairstow (Wicket-keeper) – He was pivotal in that record run chase against New Zealand, with that insane knock smashing sixes around the ground. Still have that moment saved on my Sky box.
Ben Stokes (Vice Captain) – I don’t think I really need to say much because any cricket and non cricket fan knows of King Stokes.
Freddie Flintoff – 2005 Ashes series, Enough said.
Graeme Swann – 255 Test wickets by far the best England spin bowler in my time. He did great holding up the other end in the 2010-11 ashes series
Stuart Broad – England’s second highest test wicket taker with 566 wickets, That 8/15 was by far the best spell of bowling I’ve seen live. Best of all he has David Warner in his back pocket.
Jimmy Anderson – Our leading wicket taker in Test Cricket and at the young age of 40 he is still at the top of his game, the man’s a machine. My most favourite cricket memory was the chirping with Mitchell Johnson “Why you chirping now mate, not getting any wickets?” Jimmy’s next ball, he gets a wicket. Absolutely amazing!
