Q: What was your first overseas Test match?
A: Australia v England, Melbourne 2002
Q: What is your most memorable overseas Test match you’ve seen?
A: Australia v England, Melbourne 2010 and in particular Boxing Day. After years of growing up watching Australia dominate, watching home fans slowly leave an initially packed MCG until it was empty at the end of a ruined post-Xmas day was pay back in so many ways.
Q: Who is your favourite current England player?
A: Joe Root - a joy to watch.
Q: Who is your favourite England player of all time?
A: Michael Vaughan - career sadly cut short by injury otherwise he would have been one of the all-time greats.
Q: Who is your favourite opposition player of all time?
A: Ricky Ponting - a pantomime villain but a great guy deep down and also generous with his time.
Q: What is your favourite overseas Test ground any why?
A: Newlands, Cape Town - a beautiful setting.
Q: Which country is your favourite to tour and why?
A: South Africa - beautiful country, amazing people and the birthplace of the AA.
Q: Of all the cities/towns you visited on tour, which is your favourite?
A: Cape Town, it has everything for everyone.
Q: What is your most memorable non cricket moment on tour?
A: Herbie in Barbados 2009. His rum drinking competition with a local ends with a 6pm trip to bed. Three days later he misses the direct flight to Trinidad he had paid thousands for to go island-hopping with peasants.
Q: What do you enjoy most about touring?
A: The option of leaving and doing something fun in a great place if the cricket is rubbish.
