Mrs Blade Q&A

Q: What was your first overseas Test match?
A: Durban 2004, who could have predicted we would meet such great friends.

Q: What is your most memorable overseas Test match you’ve seen?
A: I'd love to be able to say I'd seen England win! Sadly not. It will have to be Centurion 2016 when Thomas got all the gear from the players.

Q: Who is your favourite current England player?
A: Joe Root, I was worried he wasn't ready to be captain but he's proven he deserves his place and a Yorkshire boy to boot!

Q: Who is your favourite England player of all time?

A: Michael Vaughan, his presence on the field was outstanding a great leader and another Yorkshire man.

Q: Who is your favourite opposition player of all time?
A: Brett Lee because he's such a nice guy.

Q: What is your favourite overseas Test ground any why?
A: The obvious one, Newlands, Cape Town, can't beat that stunning backdrop.

Q: Which country is your favourite to tour and why?
A: Every one has been a great adventure, until recently I would have said South Africa but I think New Zealand just pips it to the post great people, fabulous scenery the weather leaves a lot to be desired though.

Q: Of all the cities/towns you visited on tour, which is your favourite?
A: Cape Town, it has it all.

Q: What is your most memorable non cricket moment on tour?
A: Herbie cracking a smile on his last Australia tour!

Q: What do you enjoy most about touring?
A: Catching up with all the great friends I met on that first tour to South Africa, who would have predicted this diverse bunch would gather such momentum and remain friends after all this time.
